You see things; and you say 'Why?'
Over the years, I’ve been very curious to unite the two worlds of Western and Classical Chinese medicine. I know that this might seem impossible, yet the direction it will come from will be in the science of quantum physics. In particular the science within consciousness. It is like all things fresh and new, one needs to really be clear what is science and what is fantasy masked as science. Finding the underlying philosophical principle and applying the science to human health, performance, and evolution. What if this were possible? How would it impact an individual’s life?
Having had the privilege to practice a material based medicine as well an energetic based medicine has given me a few insights into both strengths and limitations in each approach.
Western medicine, for all it’s successes and limitations can at least stand upon the philosophical foundation of materialism. From this viewpoint comes the science, making it a viable basis for investment and research. So at least it’s a consistent model. Yet it has definitely hit its ceiling limit and isn’t actually progressing any further despite massive investment of money and human effort.
Yet the materialist model of reality, upon which Western medicine is based, cannot explain paradoxes such as placebo, nocebo, distant healing, prayer, spontaneous remissions. In fact materialists have yet to produce consciousness from a computer or biological matter. This is known as the 'hard' question to champions of materialist philosophy - how does matter produce the creative genius of being alive?
By contrast, the field of medicine called complementary and alternative medicine (CAM), is made up of fractious entities and has very mixed receptions. Some individuals swear by it, others deride it. Indeed it works, I know. Yet the medicines of Chinese medicine, homeopathy, Ayurveda, hands on or remote healing, each have their own theoretical and philosophical foundations. The thing with CAM is that they don’t appear to have a clear philosophical principle from which they can stand on and be clearly communicated, researched or taught as a consistent field of study and application. Outcomes appear spurious, nor can they be easily replicated. The language they use doesn’t help very much unless you buy fully into the philosophy.
Yet these models, based upon an energetic language doesn't fully explain the fact that, despite taking these remedies, and attending for healing sessions, more miracles don't occur, and that the physical body still gets sick and requires western medical interventions when it malfunctions.
So we do to the spiritual dimension - yet again one does feel infinitely well - yet there still occurs imbalances in energy and demise of the physical body.
Wo that's the way forward to ingrate these layers of the human experience? So is there a way forward to unite these apparently very separate world views? Is there an emergent science that can finally marry these into one language? Can it be inclusive and also play to the strengths of all these medicines? How would this impact upon human health, performance and evolution?
To my mind I believe so!
The philosophy, science, knowledge, and research already exists. The other fields of humanity have already begun integrating the science of quantum physics to the material advancement in technology and science. It is from the field of quantum physics that the "science within consciousness" (Goswami) has broken through with the unifying principle that can include all the traditions of medicine.
The premise is that
This is astoundingly good news.
Over time I shall be posting my understanding and more importantly the application of this information towards impacting the people with whom I am invited to work with. It’s an evolving documentation of my exploration into the underlying principle of consciousness.
